Alliance members know that 2023 has been a tough year. With the illness then death of founder Al Weinrub, the Steering Committee (SC) restructured to maintain core activities solely with volunteer assistance. In July, former CACE staffer Erika Morgan returned as a consultant to support and guide the Steering Committee through this transition period.
On the November Statewide Call, SC members presented a “Mid-Transition Report to Members”. Following summary of an organizational assessment, SC members presented draft Vision and Mission statements for comment, presented strategic priorities, and offered two proposals to expand member engagement. Open discussion concluded this call, the final statewide call for 2023.

CACE will host informal discussion of this “Report to Members” on Thursday, December 7, 1:00-2:00. This informal call begins a series of follow-up discussions that may follow other statewide calls, pending speaker agreement and member support.
