This Statewide Call will focus on the Reimagined Energy for Our Communities, U.S. (REFOCUS), highlighting efforts across the U.S. to promote community energy development that emphasizes energy justice. The Campaign stresses the importance of understanding and putting resources to the narrative battleground in the fight for community energy. REFOCUS encourages us to see similarities both in our collective struggles for energy democracy and in how advocates of the centralized energy system attempt to disrupt these efforts.
Crystal Huang, Coordinator of the national Energy Democracy Project, and Selena Feliciano, Coordinator of the REFOCUS Campaign will be on hand to describe the Campaign and answer your questions.
