The topic of discussion for this statewide call will be the Newsom CPUC’s attack on rooftop solar–part of it’s broader attack on community energy on behalf of the state’s investor-owned utilities.
We’re fortunate to have two prominent energy justice advocates, Maria Stamas and Jessica Tovar, lead off the discussion with their perspectives on the CPUC’s proposed NEM decision–emphasizing its use of false equity arguments to undermine the expansion of rooftop solar in California, especially to low-income households and disadvantaged communities.
