This February, we turn to our members involved in their local Community Choice programs to inform the Alliance about advances in distributed energy resource (DER) deployment (or the lack thereof) from their respective CCAs. Given the failure of many Community Choice agencies to adequately prioritize local clean energy and local benefits, this Statewide Call is intended as an evaluation and status update on some of the CCAs. We will hear from Woody Hastings from Sonoma Clean Power, Beverly Deschaux from Central Coast Community Energy, as well as Jessica Tovar and Audrey Ichinose from East Bay Community Energy.
